Lost and forlorn,
The perspective on my mind,
Sad but emotionless,
This ghost of a dying man
As I raise my senses towards the sky,
Trying to see,
To understand the whole,
To extract and inhale the essence of life
Leaving behind the walls of flesh,
Transforming into matter no eyes can see,
Becoming a part of the unending,
The universal circle of life and death
Of construction and deconstruction
Being liable not to the laws of god,
But to the laws of our minds,
In which takes place the mystery
So bless me now oh lord of fire,
Guide my way to the other side,
Thy cosmic stairs shall lead me higher,
On my way to the black shining star
So lead me now you great destroyer,
Show me ways through space and time,
Where past and future lose theire meaning
Where life is death and death is life...
Unseizable visions penetrate my mind,
A universe with consciousness for every component, every cell
Revolting particles reject the yoke of determinacy,
The root of all breaks free from all,
Everything in everything,
everywhere at once
The gods have failed,
Outdated by the greatness of our kind
And the search for the master theory
Became the curse of our time
Unspeakable giants fall apart,
Intelligent elysium waiting to be born,
Mind escapes engulfs the world as matter's prison falls,
When math eats God man reigns
In divine ultimacy
The gods have failed,
Outdated by the greatness of our kind
Dogma crushed in dust
In the dawn of the master theorie
So bless me now oh lord of fire,
Guide my way to the other side,
Thy cosmic stairs shall lead me higher,
On my way to the black shining star

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
