I call upon , I call upon you sons and daughters of the night,
come forth and let us face the one we dread,
the son of none, the lord of light,
the one with endless love with all of us
the one creator, the supreme court
and the only judge upon our life's,
holy Father with a paradise to find,
the one who decides upon whoever lives or dies,
the god , the last dictator for all to kneel before
and never to break free from his lies,
cursed to serve, to never shine
and walk the earth depraved like slaves
so we climbed up the abyss to find the sense of life
the highest walls in darkness made from flesh and bones,
determination dreams, fullfill my spirit
everything nourishes the machine
the earth we set on fire and reach out for the sky,
to build our own empire behind the brightest star,
angels burn, and gods are blind here.
as you enter, the light outshines your life
it is the light, the light that shines
that purifies a human life,
it is the darkness of the heart that crushes tears the world apart

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
